The National Archives has launched a new webpage dedicated to hosting declassified records related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. This move is part of a broader effort to ensure transparency following an executive order from President Donald Trump.

Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna announced the development on social media, stating that all declassified JFK documents will be available on the new webpage as they are released. She encouraged the public to bookmark the site and thanked the US National Archives for working quickly to set it up. Luna also shared that she, the House Oversight Committee, and Representative Eli Crane would be meeting with Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to discuss the timeline for document releases.

The National Archives press release confirmed the launch of the webpage, where it will serve as a central location for previously released materials and future declassified records from the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection.

The webpage was created in response to Executive Order 14176, titled, "Declassification of Records Concerning the Assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr."

President Trump issued this order on January 23, 2025, as part of an initiative to increase transparency surrounding historical political assassinations.

The JFK Assassination Collection contains more than six million pages of records, along with photographs, videos, sound recordings, and artifacts. Most of these materials have already been declassified and are accessible to the public either online or in person at the National Archives facility in College Park, Maryland.
