The suspect "stated, 'I would do it again. I hate them.'"
It has been revealed that notorious "armed and dangerous" transgender killer Collin "Mia" Bailey, who admitted to gunning down Jospeh and Gail Bailey, the suspect's parents, was known to police.
Court documents show that Cory Bailey, the suspect’s brother, was granted a temporary protection order against his sibling last July. Three minor children were also listed on the protective order as co-plaintiffs. Both parties agreed to have the order dismissed on Oct. 16, but Judge John Walton said the order could be refiled if needed, St. George News reports.
On Tuesday, trans-identified male Mia Bailey, 28, went on a premeditated shooting rampage at Joseph and Gail Bailey’s home in Washington City, Utah. Bailey later confessed to killing Joseph and Gail Bailey, as well as intending to kill Cory, according to police records viewed by the outlet.
Cory and his wife escaped the massacre after they locked the bedroom door and snuck out a window to a neighbor's house to call the police, documents show.
"Mia further stated that she did not have remorse for her actions and that she would not change what she had done," the police report states. "Mia stated, 'I would do it again. I hate them.'"

Bailey reportedly entered the home and "immediately began shooting at her mother." Authorities said they found Gail Bailey deceased in the front room surrounded by multiple shell casings from a 9mm handgun.
Police said the suspect confessed to shooting Joseph Bailey in the head who "immediately dropped to the ground."
Bailey reportedly went downstairs to the basement to seek out Cory, but discovered the door was locked. Bailey fired one round through the brother's door and went back upstairs. The shooter reportedly told police that Cory was not a main target but it "would not have been sad had the gunshot killed him."
Bailey went back to Joseph Bailey’s body and shot him one more time in the head to make sure he was dead. Bailey then reportedly heard Gail Bailey making noises and shot her again. The suspect surrendered on Wednesday morning after being pursued by police.
Bailey has been charged with 10 first-degree felonies including three counts of aggravated murder, one count of aggravated burglary, and six counts of felony discharge of a weapon.
The trans-identified male is being held at Purgatory Correctional Facility in Hurricane. A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
