The facility, capable of housing up to 600 individuals at a time, is filled with cots for illegal immigrants to sleep on. The NGOs running the facility offer various services to illegal immigrants, including accommodation and transportation to and from the airport.
Tenet field reporter Tayler Hansen's investigation uncovered a strict no-recording policy enforced by staff, who allegedly coerce illegal immigrants being housed to delete footage, threatening to deport them if they do not comply.

Hansen's documentation further reveals the transportation of illegal immigrants from the center to airports, where they are subsequently flown across the country. Hansen shows footage of two illegal immigrants from Venezuela and Guatemala boarding a plane to Salt Lake City, Utah.
He captured on the footage how NGO workers at the San Antonio airport are informing illegal immigrants not to talk to him about where they are from or where they are going.
The report follows Hansen’s previous coverage of San Antonio Police officers working side contract jobs to guard the area surrounding the Migrant Resource Center. Hansen confronted these officers, questioning whether they were being compensated by the NGOs for their security services. While one officer initially confirmed this arrangement, the officers declined to answer any questions about the operation.
