Large fake tattoos covered parts of her face, including a star below one eye and a word written along her cheek.
The videos, shared on the joint TikTok account Kardashian manages with her daughter, featured North wearing long blue braids, blue contact lenses, and black grillz. Large fake tattoos covered parts of her face, including a star below one eye and a word written along her cheek.
“Fake piercings and fake tatts for life,” North captioned one clip. In another, she appeared with friends who wore similar accessories and hairstyles. The group was also seen on a private jet and later backstage at what appeared to be a concert.
While comments were turned off on TikTok, reposts of the videos to Instagram drew a wave of criticism. “She’s 12 years old,” one commenter said. Another wrote, “This isn’t cute. She looks way too grown for her age.” Others questioned Kardashian’s parenting decisions, with one user posting, “Would you want your daughter walking around like this?”
The controversy follows earlier criticism of Kardashian’s fashion choices for her daughter. Over the summer, the reality star was accused of dressing North too maturely after she was seen wearing a corset during a trip to Rome.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast this week, Kardashian admitted she’s still learning how to handle her daughter’s fashion preferences. “It’s really hard because all the kids are wearing the same things,” she said. “Then my daughter tries to wear it and I’m like, ‘OK, we’re never wearing that again.’ Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
Kardashian said North enjoys experimenting with different styles but remains “a good girl and a sweet girl.” She added, “If she wants blue hair, it makes her happy. I’d never take that creativity away from her.”
