Multiple celebrities are blasting Democratic Los Angeles officials, including Mayor Karen Bass, over their handling of the wildfires that have struck California. The region where the fires burned through California is home to a number of celebrity homes.

"City of LA you want everyone to evacuate yet you have complete gridlock and not one traffic cop on the roads helping,” Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar posted on her social media, while tagging Bass and the city of Los Angeles.

Her post comes as over 150,000 Californians are under evacuation orders to flee from their homes in Palisades and other areas around LA.

James Woods, another actor and celebrity, posted on X that it was not "climate change" to blame for the fires, but "liberal idiots like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass."

“One doesn’t understand the first thing about fire management and the other can’t fill the water reservoirs,” he continued. Woods had posted a video of the fire surrounding his house.

Another actress, Sarah Foster, also posted about her qualms with the government officials, “Our fire hydrants were empty. Our vegetation was overgrown, brush not cleared. Our reservoirs were emptied by our governor because tribal leaders wanted to save fish. Our fire department budget was cut by our mayor. But thank god drug addicts are getting their drug kits."

She added that Bass as well as California Governor Gavin Newsom should resign, adding, "Your far left policies have ruined our state. And also our party."

Valentin Chmerkovskiy, a former contestant on "Dancing with the Stars" also took to social media to list his frustrations with the state government, “5th largest economy on the planet. Firefighters didn’t have enough water pressure to do their jobs?! Are you joking me?! The taxes we pay for 3rd world infrastructure is unbelievable?! Come on.”

Some celebrities also lost their homes in the blaze, including Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, and Billy Crystal. Thousands of others have had to evacuate the area due to the raging fires, and at least five people have died in the crisis. Additionally, people have been arrested for looting while attempting to take advantage of the disaster.
