On Tuesday, a criminal gang of masked thieves pulled off a shocking robbery heist on a Los Angeles freeway in broad daylight. The gang of thieves intentionally rammed their vehicle into another driver, and then robbed the driver after causing him to crash on the side of the road.

Video footage captured by another driver who witnessed the incident unfold shows a Dodge Grand Caravan pursuing a black Alfa Romeo on the I-10 Santa Monica Freeway around 1:30 pm on Tuesday, according to Fox News.

The witness tries catching up to the vehicles and says on video: "They is gone. My sh--- ain't catching up. They swinging. They swinging."

Eventually catching up to the scene, video shows the Dodge minivan intentionally ramming into the luxury vehicle, causing the driver to crash on the shoulder.

"There he goes! There he goes! There he goes!," the witness said on video.

That's when four suspects wearing ski masks and black hoodies jumped out of the Dodge minivan and robbed the driver. The airbags in the front were deployed from the crash.

Video shows the victim on his knees with his arms up in the air on the side of the freeway as the masked bandits brazenly rob him as other vehicles pass by. The gang of thieves rummaged through the victim's vehicle, popped open the trunk, and ran off with items.

The driver of a Ford Mustang, whose vehicle had also been hit during the robbery heist, can be seen recording the shocking incident.

Within a minute after causing the collision, the criminal gang hops into a white Chevrolet Malibu, with heavily tinted windows, and flees the scene.

California Highway Patrol Officer Roberto Gomez told Fox News that the suspects were armed with hammers and crowbars.

The suspects have not been identified and California Highway Patrol Southern Division Major Crimes Unit is requesting anyone with information about the crime to call 323-644-9550.
