Fifteen people were injured after a mass shooting broke out outside a funeral home on Chicago's South Side, according to WGN9.

The incident is reported to have taken place in the late afternoon on Tuesday, where police say that a black vehicle pulled up near the Rhodes Funeral Home and opened fired on a number of those attending the funeral service.

As gunfire rings out, several people can be seen running over each other down the sidewalk in a panic. Moments later two people can be seen fleeing the scene, one wearing a white top and the other wearing a black top.

Of the 15 people who were hit by gunfire, 10 of them were female. Police reported that they recovered 60 gun shells at the scene, according to WGN9.

Though no one has been arrested, police say they are questioning a person of interest.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has resorted to attacking President Donald Trump for the violence in her own city, saying that “we’re doing an all-hands-on-deck strategy, we’re really focusing on the root causes of the violence, but fundamentally we have too many illegal guns on our street and that is a direct result of a failure of federal leadership.”

Trump has responded by sending 150 federal agents to Chicago to work alongside the Chicago Police Department.
