Megyn Kelly, podcaster and former Fox News anchor and current radio personality, campaigned for former President Donald J. Trump in the battleground state of Pennsylvania on Monday, slamming Democratic billionaire Mark Cuban for his assertion that "no intelligent women" support the Republican nominee. Kelly, who stood with Trump on stage, declared that she was there to "prove Mark Cuban wrong" and listed various reasons why she believes Trump is a better candidate than Democratic rival VP Kamala Harris, including claims that Trump will be "a protector of women."

"I really enjoy this feeling of proving Mark Cuban wrong, and so here I am at a Trump rally—a strong intelligent woman—to prove Mark Cuban wrong again," Kelly said while standing behind the podium in Pittsburgh, PA. Her remarks came just one day before the 2024 US general election. Trump, 78, rallied into the early morning hours on Election Day.

"He will be a protector of women. And it's why I'm voting for him," Kelly said, working to rally undecided voters. "He will close the border. He will keep the boys out of girls sports and where they don't belong. And you know what else? One more thing. He will look out for our boys, to our forgotten boys, and our forgotten men. Guys like you. Guys like these guys who have got the calluses on their hands, who work for a living with the beards and the tats. Who maybe have a beer after work and don't want to be judged by people like Oprah and Beyonce, who will never have to face the consequences of her disastrous economic policies."

During the 2016 election cycle, Megyn Kelly became notorious for her tense relationship with the former president. But she has since grown to be an ally, offering Trump her official endorsement before President Joe Biden withdrew from the race in July.

Kelly's remarks were in response to Mark Cuban's assertion that women who support Donald Trump are unintelligent, which insulted millions of Republican women lashing out at him last week. The Republican nominee also criticized Cuban, who had endorsed Kamala Harris, labeling him a "fool."
