President Donald J. Trump might soon have a highly anticipated and beloved companion joining him on the campaign trail.

Former First Lady Melania Trump hinted at her involvement with her husband's campaign to reporters on Tuesday, saying "stay tuned" when asked if she'd be joining him on the campaign trail.

Melania Trump, one of America's most beloved first ladies, who is known for her "Be Best" campaign as well as her great sense of fashion, has kept herself out of the spotlight since Donald Trump announced his bid for president in the upcoming election in November.

The former first lady was spotted by reporters alongside her husband in Florida on Tuesday, as the two arrived at a polling location to cast their votes in the state's GOP primary election.

The former Republican president's wife has made only a few rare appearances since Trump launched his primary campaign, but Melania hinted that this soon could change, per the Epoch Times.

President Trump distinguished his wife from other previous first ladies last month by attributing her absence from his campaign to her desire to be out of the spotlight.

"You know, a lot of first ladies would go out; they want to be everywhere. They get angry at their husband because he's not introducing them," President Trump told Fox News' Laura Ingraham.

"If I didn't introduce Melania, she'd be very happy about it. She's just a different kind of a person," said Trump.

President Trump stated in September of last year that Melania would eventually join him on the campaign trail "when it's appropriate."

"She's a private person, a great person, very confident person, and she loves our country very much. She'll be—at the appropriate time—she'll be out there," Trump told "Meet the Press."

Additionally, Trump said he's protective of Melania and likes "to keep her away from it. It’s so nasty and so mean."

Donald Trump also said his wife has been preoccupied with his youngest son Barron's education.

"She loves that boy. ... She'll be with us. She’s very, very supportive," said Trump.
