Tucson's ABC affiliate KGUN9 revealed that the ransom note they received in the Nancy Guthrie case has demanded $6 million in Bitcoin. JJ McKinney, spokesperson for the outlet, said "Multiple ransom notes have been sent out to the media, including one that was sent to us. In the letter, the potential kidnappers demanded that the Guthries pay them $6 million before this Monday."

A ransom note was also received by TMZ and there were two deadline listed in the notes, Monday being the second of these. The note indicates that Guthrie's life is in peril if the 5 pm Monday deadline is not met.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, Savannah Guthrie said "We received your message and we understand," Guthrie says in the post. "We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us and we will pay."

This is the second video they have released. In her first video message, Guthrie said “We, too, have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media. As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk. We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please. Reach out to us.”

KOLD-TV received a second note following the first video, which gave what authorities called "sensitive information" about the kidnapping and the Guthrie home. Experts have said that this note did not include proof of life. Guthrie uses a pacemaker and at the time of her kidnapping, she was disconnected from the monitoring equipment for that device. Her medications were also left behind.

Guthrie was abducted from her Tucson, Ariz. home 7 days ago and an investigation has been underway. On Saturday, the home of daughter Annie Guthrie, sister to Savannah, was searched for law enforcement for about 3 hours.

The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for information and President Trump has taken a personal interest in getting Guthrie back home safe. No suspect has yet been identified by police, but a vehicle was removed from Guthrie's home on Saturday and investigators have begun talking to local businesses about a potential male suspect.
