WATCH: BLM activists harass and berate diners at DC restaurants

As some masked activists screamed at the diners, pointing their megaphone directly in their faces, others tried to entice them to join the protest.

"You can ask for your check and join us," a man said. "We should all be together, this is gonna take a massive crusade. We need all of you guys with us, every time."

As the diners kept their seats despite being cursed at and berated, a police officer tried to get between the protestors and the people. But another officer pulled him away.

At a different restaurant, demonstrators screamed at patrons, "Raise your fists!"

A few diners raised their fists in solidarity, in a vain attempt to be spared the protestors' rebukes, others merely sat and took it. Those who showed their sympathy with protest were not spared.

A week ago, demonstrators similarly taunted and heckled diners at a DC restaurant, surrounding a woman and demanding that she join their protest instead of eat her meal.

Demonstrators clashed with police in DC last night as well, as protestors took the streets and police used non-lethal crowd control tools to try to dispel the activists.

The scene at Black Lives Matter Plaza Saturday night was one of chaos, and resulted in four arrests.

Washington, DC, has been subject to protests this past week as demonstrators attempted to disrupt the Republican National Convention, which was held on the lawn of the White House.

The final night of the RNC saw attendees harassed and attacked. Protestors specifically targeted senators, congressmen, conservative media, and committee chairs.

In once instance, BLM activists hurled homophobic slurs at two men heading back to their hotel from the convention, #WalkAway Campaign's Brandon Straka and Mike Harlow, before physically assaulting them.

On Friday night, a mob of BLM activists surrounded a car and would not let them through, yelling "no justice no peace" at the driver and demanding that those in the car get out and protest with them.

"You're not getting through them," the protestor says, "if you hop out with us you'll have a better chance."

Protestors have been taking the fight directly to people, where they eat and where they live, demanding that people join in, or be harassed when they won't.
