BREAKING: Masked far-left activists protest Charlie Kirk appearance at University of New Mexico
“F*ck Charlie Kirk!”
“F*ck Charlie Kirk!”

Masked far-left protesters descended upon an event with Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on the campus of the University of New Mexico, marching with signs and chanting expletives at the conservative activist.
In videos shared by Kirk to The Post Millennial, people wearing mostly black with their faces obstructed by masks and hoods crowded outside of the event at the Albuquerque, New Mexico campus.

View on Rumble"F*ck Charlie Kirk!" could be heard shouted from the leftist mob. They also appeared to yell "F*ck Erica." The Post Millennial has confirmed that this is a reference to TPUSA chapter president Erica Rodriguez. However, it is also the name of Charlie Kirk's wife.

"My welcoming committee at University of New Mexico for tonight's event," Kirk wrote of the incident as it unfolded.

View on XPolice formed a barrier in between the protestors and the building in which Kirk's event was being held. The leftist activists stood outside the barrier, shouting into megaphones, banging on items, and waving signs that read "SHUT DOWN WHITE SUPREMACY."
This is a resceduled event; Kirk was originally slated to appear at the University of New Mexico the day before the midterm elections.
Earlier this year, far-left agitators violently shut down a Tomi Lahren speaking event at the same university.

View on XTPUSA released a statement at the time:
First of all, we’re grateful to the University Police, as well as the New Mexico State Police, who rushed in to protect Tomi, our TPUSA students, and all event staff. Conservatives should not need armed security and multiple police departments deployed to keep our kids and our speakers safe. Our Turning Point USA students now have to live with the aftermath of this security threat. Will they continue to be targeted when they walk to class and to their dorm rooms?
Sadly, what happened in New Mexico is far too common. The students and community organizations responsible for this mob that caused damage to the venue—and forced Tomi and her father to be barricaded in a safe room for 45 minutes—must be held accountable. We will only get more threats of violence unless there are serious consequences for this behavior. We are looking into all possible avenues to help achieve that end.
Unhinged activists also protested pro-life speaker Ian Haworth in October at the same campus.
