‘COWARDS’: Vivek Ramaswamy slams ‘sanctimonious’ advertisers for virtue-signaling X boycott

In a post on X, Ramaswamy said, "The advertisers sanctimoniously 'pausing their ad spending on X' are cowards."

Referring to a consumer boycott of Bud Light after they partnered with trans-TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney, Ramaswamy said that "it is different" when individual consumers do it. "It’s one thing if you want to use your *own* money to signal your own personal values. It’s quite another to use corporate $$ to engage in personal virtue-signaling which is what these executives are doing," he said.

"Even worse when it’s based on false pretenses & intentional distortions of Elon’s comments," Ramaswamy concluded.

In a follow-up post, the candidate said, "the 'anti-racist' woke BS from the last 3 years planted the seeds for today’s antisemitism." He noted, "Yet liberal groups like ADL who propped up BLM are the ones now crying foul. They’re insinuating that Elon Musk is an “antisemite” to deflect accountability for their own failures. It’s disgusting & needs to stop."

In the video attached to the post, Ramaswamy called the idea that Elon Musk is an anti-semite "insane." He said, "Nothing annoys the hell out of me more than when we're trying to stifle any discussion or open debate or dissent with the use of some type of untouchable label."

"We saw this a few years ago after George Floyd died, and you had the BLM protests across the country and corporate America gets in on the act," Ramaswamy continued. "If you defect from the Ibram Kendi-led anti-racist dogma, that would automatically mean that you're racist. At a time, certainly a couple of years ago, where there was no greater damnation in America than to be called a racist."

He noted that the tactic was used to stifle dissent, because "Rational people don't want to be tarred with the scarlet R. And so they just shut up sit down and do as they're told to keep their thoughts to themselves."

He noted that Musk is being called anti-Semitic simply for pointing out in a conversation that "People who've entered our country have brought some of these anti-Semitic ideas, and I would say racist, and other ideas to the United States, play some role in the antisemitism that we're seeing today."

The ad withdrawal from corporations comes after the far-left publication Media Matters wrote an extensive hit piece on Musk accusing him of being antisemitic for not suppressing divisive opinions, and being dedicated to X being a free speech platform.

Several outlets such as Timcast, The Babylon Bee, and Benny Media, among others, have decided to commit tens of thousands on ad buys in an effort to support the platform's ideals.
