Facebook has removed a group page from its platform that was being used to target and dox ICE agents conducting operations in Chicago, Illinois, Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed.
"Today following outreach from the Justice Department, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target ICE agents in Chicago," Bondi wrote. "The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs."
She added, "The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement." Per ABC 7, the group that was removed appears to be one titled "ICE Sighting—Chicagoland."
