Haley is currently in a one-on-one matchup with Trump after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis dropped out of the race and endorsed the former president last Sunday. Haley has vowed to press forward in the race to be the GOP's nominee for the foreseeable future.
Following her loss in New Hampshire, she said, "New Hampshire is first in the nation. It is not the last in the nation. This race is far from over!" She added, "The road is never going to stop here in New Hampshire, that’s always been the plan.”
"Most Americans do not want a rematch between Biden and Trump," Haley claimed. The first party to retire its 80-year-old candidate is going to be the party that wins this election. And I think it should be the Republicans that win this election."
A new Reuters/Ipsos poll released this week shows that former President Trump holds a 40 to 34 percent lead on President Biden, with 35 percent of Americans citing immigration as their top policy concern in a separate Harvard Harris poll. 32 percent said inflation was their number one concern.
