An advertisement for the Liberals has caught the attention of some online, after one keen observer noticed that the Apple laptop Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was not an Apple product at all, and was instead an HP with an Apple sticker on it.
The advertisement, which started running in April of this year, can be found on the Liberals' Facebook ad library, and promotes the Liberals' "progress check-in survey."
It's unclear whose laptop Trudeau is using in the photo. According to Liberal communications director Braeden Caley, the HP was a team laptop "borrowed for a moment in the LPC volunteer hub, for a drop-in to thank volunteers virtually during successful by-elections early last fall."
"We've always embraced the grassroots nature of our organizing, and it's a good thing that volunteers sometimes have a bit of fun while working together to keep Canada moving forward," said Caley.
