Conservative shadow minister o off finance Pierre Poilievre highlighted Justin Trudeau's hypocrisy, after calling the maskless private jet party held by Quebecois influencers a "slap in the face."

"Agreed," wrote Poilievre in a tweet published on Thursday, "But what about all the maskless cocktail parties you've attended with other global elites since COVID started?"

Poilievre accompanied the tweet with a photo of Trudeau at the COP26 global climate action conference in the United Kingdom, where he and other world leaders were photographed in close quarters.

During the press conference on Thursday, Trudeau condemned the bunch who partied on the flight, saying "We know how hard people have worked to keep themselves safe, to limit their family gatherings at Christmastime, to wear masks, to get vaccinated, to do all the right things."

"I can assure you this is a situation Transport Canada takes extremely seriously, and we are definitely following up on that."
