Two suspects have been arrested by police after they allegedly rammed two police cars with a stolen vehicle in Mississauga on Sunday, CP24 reports.

Peel Regional Police say the incident happened shortly after midnight, after they started to investigate a vehicle in the Road East and Dixie Road area. The driver of that vehicle rammed into two cop cars before leaving the scene.

Police later found the suspect vehicle with the help of the K9 unit, and two suspects were taken into custody. There have been no reported injuries.

According to police, the vehicle was stolen from a Brampton home on December 1, after the owner left the car idling in their driveway to warm it up.

The suspected driver of the stolen car, 21-year-old Ikjot Singh, now faces charges of possession of property obtained by crime, flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation of a vehicle, failure to stop after an accident, and operation of a vehicle while impaired by drugs.

The second suspect, 23-year-old Jasdeep Singh, is also facing charges that include two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
