An image of a vehicle connected to a fatal Vaughan shooting was released by police on Sunday afternoon, reports CP24.
Emergency crews responded to a call at about 5:40 p.m. and arrived at a commercial plaza close to Thistlewood Avenue and Islington Avenue. There they found a man with severe gunshot wounds.
Officers pronounced the man dead at the scene. They also found a number of shell casings surrounding the scene.
“Investigators are also appealing to anyone who may have been driving in the area of Islington Avenue north of Woodbridge Avenue that may have captured an image of the suspect vehicle,” noted police in a news release.
Investigators on Monday released the image showing a black four door Ford F-150 truck with black rims. It was heading north on Islington Avenue.
People with information are asked to contact Crime Stoppers or police.
