A Portland Antifa member has been convicted of disorderly conduct this week after he was part of a mob of people who were accosting and following a group of Jewish people who were protesting against Hamas in downtown Portland.

Christopher Donald Fellini, 35, was arrested in March after he followed the group of Jewish protesters, yelling at them and nearly getting physical with those present. He has a rap sheet containing a history of prior charges and arrests having to do with violence at riots and protests. Along with the conviction, Fellini has been sentenced to 6 months' probation.

Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt did not pursue any charges relating to antisemitism, despite Fellini yelling at the group, calling them "sh*tty-a*s Zionists." Fellini claimed he wasn't doing anything illegal as he followed the group. A woman who was in the group said that she needed an escort in order to get to her car and was recorded as saying, "This is what antisemitism looks like."

After the March 8 incident this year, Fellini was initially charged with counts of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and other charges at the time for the incident.

In 2020 Fellini was charged for allegedly assaulting a federal police officer during a riot. He was carrying weapons at the time when the suspected assault took place. Officers found a knife, pepper spray, and a powerful laser on his person when he was searched. Fellini had been participating in the BLM riots at the time of the arrest. In 2017, he was charged for similar crimes, but they were ultimately dropped by federal officials.
