An interview between Paul and Trump is set to be released on Thursday.
Former President Donald Trump posted a WWE-style "face-off" video on his official TikTok account, teasing an upcoming interview with YouTube star Logan Paul. The playful video mimicked the dramatic confrontations seen in professional wrestling and other fighting sports, with both Paul and Trump intensely standing face-to-face before laughing and hugging each other.
"Face off with Logan Paul drops tomorrow," the post to Trump's TikTok account stated.
The interview reportedly took place at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence on Tuesday and will be released on Paul's popular podcast, "Impaulsive," on Thursday.
It is unclear what topics will be covered in their conversation. However, Paul, a wrestler with the WWE since 2022, will likely talk about his involvement in the sport considering Trump has made numerous appearances for WWE over the years.
According to TMZ, Paul is also interested in interviewing President Joe Biden and has reached out to the Biden campaign, though an interview with Biden appears unlikely due to Trump's greater accessibility to various media formats.
The video posted on TikTok teasing the interview gained over 1.6 million views in just two hours after being posted on the platform.
Trump's TikTok account has quickly become a focal point of media attention. When he first joined the platform at the beginning of June, the presidential frontrunner posted a video with UFC's Dana White announcing his presence on TikTok. Since it was posted less than two weeks ago, the video has already garnered over 125 million views.
Trump's account has already accumulated over 6.1 million followers, an amount of 5.7 million more than the official Biden campaign account which has been on the app much longer.
