RCMP say 'significant' number of firearms stolen from Alberta gun club

Police say they were notified of the incident on Thursday morning after news that a door at the club had been broken.

RCMP in Alberta are invesitigating a situation after a gun club in Dunmore, Alberta was broken into and had a "significant" number of restricted firearms stolen.

Police say they were notified of the incident on Thursday morning after news that a door at the club had been broken, reports Global News.

RCMP released photos showing a hooded and masked person inside the gun club with a large bag and multiple weapons.

A white two-door 2008 Pontiac G6 with a missing rear bumper was used in the break and enter, polie say.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have noticed the vehicle in that area on May 5 to contact them at 403-548-2288 or through Crime Stoppers at www.P3Tips.com.
