Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani on Thursday announced that he has reached a settlement with two 2020 Georgia election workers who had won a defamation case against him.

Giuliani said in a statement, "I have reached a resolution of the litigation with the Plaintiffs that will result in a satisfaction of the Plaintiffs’ judgment. This resolution does not involve an admission of liability or wrongdoing by any of the Parties. I am satisfied with and have no grievances relating to the result we have reached."

"I have been able to retain my New York coop and Florida Condominium and all of my personal belongings. No one deserves to be subjected to threats, harassment, or intimidation. This litigation has taken its toll on all parties. This whole episode was unfortunate. I and the Plaintiffs have agreed not to ever talk about each other in any defamatory manner, and I urge others to do the same."

In October, a federal judge ordered Giuliani to hand over his Manhattan penthouse apartment, watch collection, signed sports memorabilia, his Mercedes, and other valuables to Georgia elections workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss. A jury in December 2023 awarded the two workers $148 million.

Outside Manhattan federal court on Thursday, where Giuliani had been set to appear for his non-jury civil trial, Giuliani’s attorney Joseph Cammarata said "all parties reached a resolution," per ABC News. Giuliani was scheduled to be the first witness in the case over whether he must hand over his Florida condo to the election workers.
