Suspect wanted on felony battery charges after knocking elderly woman unconscious at LAX: LAPD

A suspect wanted by the Los Angeles Police Department on felony battery charges after allegedly knocking an elderly woman unconscious at the Los Angeles International Airport last month.

The suspect has been identified as Jasan Givens Sr., 38, and the LAPD is asking the public for help in locating his whereabouts.

According to police, Givens was involved in a physical altercation stemming from a road rage incident that resulted in a fistfight on the curb at LAX on May 31 around 9:25 am. During the altercation, the two individuals slammed into the elderly woman and knocked her unconscious while she was checking her luggage curbside. 

The victim was transported to the hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department in critical condition. She has since been released from the hospital. 

LAPD said Givens is known to drive a silver Chevrolet sedan with license plate 5UAL384. This vehicle has visible damage to the front passenger door.
