Meghan McCain leaves "The View" this Friday, but the outgoing co-host for the daytime talk show is making the most of her way out the door.

On Monday she projected a landslide win for the Republican presidential candidate in a hypothetical 2024 election race that’d have Vice President Kamala Harris teeing off against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Meghan’s response was inspired by the newest polling which showed Harris being the most unpopular vice president since the 1970s. The issue of immigration being said to explain why.

"Ron DeSantis would put her in the ground," McCain said about Kamala’s prospects in that 2024 outcome.

For one, she believes Harris "stumbled when she was running for President. She dropped out before Iowa. She was a very early dropout. She wasn’t resonating with voters way before President Biden was elected."

To explain why, Meghan McCain started off by addressing the immigration elephant in the room. Something that most recently included a new report with video showing hundreds of migrants dwelling under a bridge in Anzalduas Bridge in Mission, Texas.

She pointed out the tone in the media shifted from heavy criticism of former President Donald Trump with the "kids in cages" routine seemingly all but vanishing in the 2021 transition. Technically, all media coverage of the border crisis faded out early on in the year as an unofficial media blackout had been enacted by Biden’s people.

MCCain brought up reporting by Politico and Axios as examples where the White House itself was disappointed with Kamala's handling of the crisis .

She had spent weeks outright avoiding going to the US - Mexico border despite being appointed by President Joe  Biden to take care of it.

"Her laugh has become a way for people to take hits at her because it’s uncomfortable to watch, it’s uncomfortable to answer, and I always thought she needed more media training than she had," Meghan McCain mused.

Instead she went to Central American countries to confer with their leadership. It was during Kamala’s first foreign trip here when Lester Holt confronted her about not visiting the border in an interview. It was there Harris gave the now-infamous "and I haven’t been to Europe" response.

But there’s more beyond McCain’s example. At the end of July, corporate media over at NBC shared leaked audio of officials from Fort Bliss in which authorities revealed concerns about staff engaging in sexual acts with migrant minors.
