Tucker Carlson addressed the recent announcement that Biden's Department of Justice, under Attorney General Merrick Garland, is taking up the cause of the National School Board Association and using the FBI to investigate concerned parents at school board meetings.
The National School Board Association (NSBA) sent a letter to President Biden last week encouraging his administration to classify the actions of concerned parents as "the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes."
The Department of Justice announced Monday that the FBI and US Attorney's Offices will meet during the next month with law enforcement leaders across the country "to discuss strategies for addressing this disturbing trend."
"The government makes all decisions about your children," Carlson said, slamming the Biden administration for targeting parents. "This is the new rule."
The Biden administration now views concerned parents as "domestic terrorists," Carlson added. "Garland directed quote 'federal, state, tribal, territorial, and local law enforcement agencies to discuss strategies for addressing this disturbing trend.'"
"It is now criminal to disagree with your kids' school," Tucker said. "The Biden administration no longer believes in the most basic precepts of liberal democracy. They are happy to use armed agents of the state to enforce their ideology."
"Why did the DOJ issue this letter?" Tucker asked rhetorically. "Because they received a complaint from the National School Board association, huge donors to the Democratic Party. That complaint cited that citizens were upset over the teachings of critical race theory and masking of children. The group wrote to the Biden administration and said that some of the actions against school boards could be equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes."
Carlson said that the backdrop to all of this is that the parents who decided to bravely confront their schools boards for blatant indoctrination are now considered "criminals" by the Biden administration and the Department of Justice.
In addition, Carlson slammed the Biden administration for choosing to target children and parents when crimes rates in the United States are at a historical high.
