"But it's no offense to anybody, anything. It's just my beliefs. I just don't believe in that stuff. Whatever."

On Wednesday, "Yellowstone" star Forrie J. Smith posted a now-deleted Instagram video where he said he would not be attending the Screen Actors Guild Awards because they require all in attendance to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Smith is not.

Despite receiving industry accolades for his performance as Lloyd Pierce and earning a nomination for "outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series," Smith explained the situation to his supporters:

"I mean no offense to anyone. I’m not vaccinated, and it’s a requirement to be vaccinated to be at the Screen Actors Guild ceremony," Smith said before railing on the lengthy requirements for boosters and masks that officials demand.

"I’m not vaccinated; I will not get vaccinated. I haven’t been vaccinated since I was a little kid. I don’t vaccinate my dogs, I don’t vaccinate my horses. I’ve never had a flu shot. I never will. I believe they compromise your immunities," the actor continued before pondering on how great it would've been being a cowboy on the red carpet. "But it's no offense to anybody, anything. It's just my beliefs. I just don’t believe in that stuff. Whatever. Thank you all, y'all enjoy watching the show anyway, and maybe next year."

The SAG Awards website details in its COVID-19 protocols section that measures like proof of vaccination and negative test results are required upon arrival.

"Failure to comply would result in denial or termination of your access within the premises," SAG's rules warn. "In addition to being fully vaccinated, COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters administered before the event are required for all in-person attendees who are eligible," they say further on the website.

There have been several high-profile cases of vaccine mandate-related issues in the entertainment industry over the last year. "Black Panther" star Letitia Wright was previously alienated by press reports about her stance on vaccines. Ice Cube left a $9 million dollar deal with Sony after refusing the jab, and a star actor of General Hospital lost his job in part due to his stance on COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

In late January, "Ant-Man" actress Evangeline Lilly revealed publicly she attended an anti-vaccine rally held in Washington, DC.
