100 names of those who may be standing in the way of the Trump administration’s agenda in the upcoming election
A list of federal employees who oppose Donald Trump will reportedly be released just before the 2024 election. A group called the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) has been tasked with making the list.
The AAF was given a $100,000 grant from the Heritage Foundation in order to investigate the social media posts as well as commentary of high-ranking government employees that have a bias against Trump, per the Daily Mail.
Tom Jones is heading the project and has the goal of publishing 100 names of those who may be standing in the way of the Trump administration’s agenda in the upcoming election. “We need to understand who these people are and what they do,”Jones said. The leader is a former Capitol Hill aide to Republican senators in DC. Trump has promised to remove “deep state” actors in the federal government who work against his policies should he take a second term in office.
The group has specifically focused on the Department of Homeland Security, the executive agency over borders. Those who oppose Trump may potentially set up roadblocks to stop policy changes from being enforced on the southern border in the case that Trump is elected come November. Illegal immigration has become a top issue for Americans, with recent polling showing that a majority of Hispanics, often thought of as being more left leaning on the issue, are in favor of mass deportations.
Jones and the AAF are relying on conservative contacts in order to investigate the left-leaning government employees. The effort from Jones is also attempting to focus on those in positions of power which are not partisan appointments but are unelected bureaucratsin the federal agencies.
