Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich has been arrested by Ottawa police as the crackdown on freedom protesters continues.
A group of approximately 20 axe-wielding individuals attacked a Coastal GasLink work site where they violently engaged with employees, security and police officers. One RCMP officer was reportedly injured in the arson attack.
Freedom Convoy co-organizer Chris Barber was arrested by Ottawa Police on Thursday.
The city of Ottawa issued a tweet aimed at the Freedom Convoy protestors, threatening to confiscate their pets on top of all the other measures aimed at them.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the federal-level police authority in Canada, has provided a list of people suspected in participating or aiding in the Freedom Convoy protests to all major banks, so that they can act to freeze their accounts.
Protestors in Ottawa were met with an increased police presence on Thursday after the city's interim police chief vowed to "take back" the area.
The RCMP and OPP have ordered cryptocurrency exchanges to "cease facilitating any transactions" with over 30 addresses connected to ongoing protests across Canada.
"I think if you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who's donating hundreds of thousands of dollars and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, they oughta be worried."

Lindell was turned back at the border because he was not fully vaccinated, nor did he have a negative PCR test.

The Children's Aid Society said they will work to "reunite families" in the event that parents and children are separated following "police efforts in ending the demonstrations in the downtown core."
