"Why no advertiser boycott, Bob Eiger? You are endorsing this material!" Musk wrote on X.
Musk's comments stem from an ongoing feud with Disney CEO Bob Iger after Disney decided to pull their advertisements from Musk's social media platform X, which Elon has referred to as "blackmail."
Responding to a report about New Mexico filing a lawsuit against Mark Zuckerberg's social media company Meta on allegations that content featured on Facebook and Instagram enabled child sex abuse and trafficking, Musk called out Bob Iger and questioned why he isn't boycotting the company.
"Why no advertiser boycott, Bob Eiger? You are endorsing this material!" Musk wrote on X.
Individuals on X were quick to stand by Musk and some users alleged that Disney must be complicit due to the company's history of employees being charged with sex crimes against children.
"It was never about advertising standards. It’s about bankrupting X on behalf of the ruling class," said one user.
"That would mean he and Disney are against that sort of thing," another said.
"Have you watched any new Disney material? Bob has allowed Disney to trans up and groom kids with their material. What happened to the happiest place on earth? It's the happiest place on [earth] for groomer's," added another.
Last week, Elon Musk sent a strong verbal message to advertisers trying to blackmail his social media platform X at the New York Times Dealbook Summit, which included Bob Iger whom Musk indirectly told to "Go f*ck yourself."
The ad withdrawal from corporations comes after the far-left publication Media Matters wrote an extensive hit piece on Musk accusing him of being antisemitic for not suppressing divisive opinions, and being dedicated to X being a free speech platform.
Several outlets such as Timcast, The Babylon Bee, and Benny Media, among others, have decided to commit tens of thousands on ad buys in an effort to support the platform's ideals.
Musk received massive praise for his comments at the summit but also garnered backlash, mostly from mainstream media. However, his supporters have been standing by him and recently called on everyone to boycott Disney. In return for boycotting Disney, individuals encouraged everyone who uses X to sign up for a premium account to support Musk.
