Erika Kirk, the CEO of Turning Point USA and widow of the organization’s founder Charlie Kirk, is set to receive the inaugural Charlie Kirk Legacy Award at Fox Nation’s seventh annual Patriot Awards on Thursday.

The ceremony, which will be held at live at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville, New York, will see Sean Hannity serve as the master of ceremonies. Presenting the inaugural award honoring Charlie Kirk’s legacy will be country music star Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, as well as Fox News host Jesse Watters, a press release from Fox stated.

Fox said the Charlie Kirk Legacy Award will be given to a person "who embodies Charlie’s mission and his spirit of free speech, faith, and family" each year.

Other awards being given during the ceremony include the Young Patriot Award, the Most Valued Patriot Award, the Heroism Award, the Patriot of the Year Award, the Salute to Service Award, Benjamin Hall’s 'Honor' Award, and the Tunnels to Towers Stephen Courage Siller Award.

Erika Kirk was named board chair and CEO of Turning Point USA following the September assassination of Charlie Kirk. Kirk was fatally shot in the neck while holding a campus event at Utah Valley University on September 10. Tyler Robinson has been arrested and charged with Kirk’s murder.

Since then, Erika Kirk has been featured in TIME’s 100 "most influential rising stars" in the world. The magazine wrote, "Few would have faulted Erika Kirk if she had stood before tens of thousands at her husband’s memorial and demanded retribution. Instead, 11 days after Charlie Kirk was assassinated while speaking at a university, his 36-year-old widow offered something rare in today’s politics: forgiveness." Kirk had stated had a memorial service honoring her husband, " forgive him because it was what Christ did and is what Charlie would do."

TIME wrote that her comments at the service "may frame the future of the organization her husband launched as a teen and built into a political powerhouse mobilizing young conservatives across the country."

The entry concluded, "Now raising two young children without her husband, what Erika Kirk models to America’s political leadership is the strength of resilience and grace."

Kirk spoke at the Ole Miss stop of Turning Point USA’s ongoing tour in October, telling students, "At this moment, every single one of us has a choice to make: whether we stand for freedom or we’re gonna just fall for everything else." She said Gen Z was the "courageous generation," something her husband believed, adding, "You are the courageous generation. Own it. Make him proud."
