Lead FBI agent who warned Twitter about ‘Russian disinformation’ dump is repeat donor to Democratic Party: report

War Room's Natalie Winters said "Elvis Chan – the lead FBI agent 'warning' Twitter about 'Russian disinformation' and a compromising story about Hunter Biden – is a repeat Democrat Donor. It's so in your face."

According to the Federal Elections Commission website, Chan donated $100 to ActBlue, a left-wing PAC, right after the 2020 presidential elections.

The reporting on Hunter Biden's laptop, by Emma-Jo Morris in the New York Post was censored by Twitter under the guide of it having been based on hacked material. Morris wrote of Hunter Biden's "laptop from hell," a discarded laptop left at a Delaware computer repair shop. Its contents implicated Joe Biden and his son in corruption connected with influence peddling and profiteering compounded by Hunter Biden's love for hookers, illegal guns, and crack.

Yoel Roth, former head of Twitter Trust and Safety, submitted a disclosure to the FEC that stated that the social media giant had been warned by the FBI that a Russian disinformation dump was imminent. When the New York Post's reporting came around, Roth and Twitter execs assumed that was it.

A recent drop of files from Twitter showed that the execs who suppressed the reporting knew that the excuse of it being hacked would not hold.

The FBI had already been aware of the laptop and its contents, having been contacted by the owner of the Delaware repair shop where the younger Biden had left his laptop in 2019. They seized that laptop, and an accompanying hard drive, at the end of 2019.

An FEC disclosure signed by Roth reads: "Since 2018, I have had regular meetings with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, and industry peers regarding election security."

Chan was the lead official in the FBI communications.

Chan is one of several officials set to be deposed in regard to the government colluding with social media platforms to suppress free speech. In October, a judge granted a motion filed by Missouri and Louisiana calling for key figures, including Chan, Anthony Fauci, and others to provide answers about everything from the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story to Covid policy.

On Friday, a massive batch of Twitter Files pertaining to the suppression were released by Elon Musk. It was revealed by Matt Taibbi that "The decision was made at the highest levels of the company, but without the knowledge of CEO Jack Dorsey, with former head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya Gadde playing a key role."

Another FBI agent who was accused of suppressing the investigation into the laptop after it was seized from the repair shop, Tim Thibault, resigned in August, and was escorted out of the building. He came under fire by Congressional GOP after it was revealed that his social media was full of anti-Trump content in the lead up to the 2020 election, during which time he was supposed to be helping to direct the investigation of Hunter Biden.
