On Wednesday, the New York police arrested 35-year-old Donnie Hudson in connection to a shooting in South Ozone Park, Queens that saw the suspect enter a local deli the same day at 2 pm and allegedly open fire on the employee.

According to local ABC News, Hudson, "who lives above the deli on Rockaway Boulevard, was taken into custody a few hours after the incident" and "was found carrying a backpack carrying an AR-15 machine gun and three magazines, loaded with multiple rounds of ammo, police said."

Authorities say Hudson first entered the Rockaway Express Deli at 12:30 pm and reportedly got into an altercation with the 47-year-old employee behind the counter. Hudson later told police he believed employees of the deli had been stealing from his home, which was above the bodega.

The suspect later returned around 2:30 pm and surveillance footage that later went viral caught the episode on camera.

The video shows the suspect entering dressed in all black, including his face and head being covered by a beanie and face mask. The suspect starts firing his pistol at the employee, aiming for the worker's face and head. The employee collapses while holding his bleeding head and screaming

The suspect exits and then returns with a rifle which he points over the counter and starts firing in the direction of the worker, who had ducked into a corner.

The New York Post reports Hudson has been charged with "attempted murder, criminal possession of a machine gun, criminal possession of loaded firearm, criminal possession of ammo clip, criminal possession of large capacity ammo-feeding device and unlawful possession of ammo-feeding device, police said."

The deli employee was shot in the eye and another 27-year-old man, a bystander, suffered an injury to his wrist, likely from a shell casing or bullet fragment. Both were transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and were treated.

On Twitter, Jack Posobiec said, "Get out of NYC I can't believe this guy lived."
