President Trump was asked at a press conference yesterday if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris should publicly denounce Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. Trump replied that they should.

"They should, I think they're afraid. In my book it's virtually a part of their campaign, Antifa," Trump replied. "The Democrats acts like 'gee, I don't know exactly what that is.' Take a look at Portland, take a look at anywhere you want to look, they were here."

The question came after it was discovered that for a time yesterday afternoon Joe Biden's home page linked to Antifa.

Trump and the Republicans have been far more concerned about the involvement of Antifa agitators and activists in the recent spate of protests and rioting that has targeted many American cities.

In the Senate, Ted Cruz convened a hearing to discuss the far-left extremists, and their tactics, while Democrat senators, such as Mazie Hirono (D-HI) refused to either acknowledge the existence of the group, or condemn their actions. Cruz had no qualms about denouncing far-right extremists.

Attorney General William Barr said that evidence had been obtained by the Justice Department that showed that "extremist agitators" were using the cover of the protests to "pursue their own separate and violent agenda."

In June, Jim Jordan brought a similar hearing to the House of Representatives. Rep. Jamie Raskin denied that Antifa exists or were involved in inciting riots and violence. Rep. Jerrold Nadler, of New York, has also denied that the group exists, claiming that they are a myth.

Democrat representatives aren't the only ones running cover for Antifa. Mainstream media is also fronting the narrative that Antifa are are harmless leftists engaged solely in peaceful protests. The Washington Post ran an Antifa fashion spread.

The group claims to be leaderless, which fuels the assumption that they are not organized in willful destruction.

Trump has announced plans for his administration to name Antifa a terrorist organization. The Biden Harris campaign has not yet responded to the challenge that they denounce those far-left activists in the Democrat party who are alleged to have been intentionally wrecking havoc on American cities.
