Multiple arrests were made outside a Portland, Oregon Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility on Sunday evening. The arrests come as the Trump administration ordered the National Guard to protect ICE facilities in Portland. The left-wing group has been seizing the area around the facility for months on end.

Last week, President Donald Trump declared Antifa a domestic terrorist organization, and over the weekend, he ordered, "I am directing Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to provide all necessary Troops to protect War ravaged Portland, and any of our ICE Facilities under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists."

On Sunday evening, events came to a head as Antifa members were detained by law enforcement.

The Post Millennial's Katie Daviscourt was on the scene of the events, and footage of the incident also showed Antifa members attacking Daviscourt's security guard leading up to the arrests.

Two people were arrested on Sunday: a 17-year-old for fourth-degree assault, and a 38-year-old man for third-degree assault. ICE supporters also gathered as the events took place, protesting in favor of the immigration enforcement officers. Some Antifa militants also attempted to block federal officers from getting into the ICE facility.

The tensions come after a months-long stand-off between Antifa and federal officers at the ICE facility. After Trump declared that Portland was "war ravaged" and ordered that 200 National Guard troops be sent to Oregon, Democrat state officials argued, "When the president and I spoke yesterday, I told him in very plain language there is no insurrection or threat to public safety that necessitates military intervention in Portland or any other city in our state."

There have been multiple violent incidents since Antifa started its siege of the area around the ICE facility in early June. ICE has had to use crowd control munitions in several instances, and three other arrests took place last week for charges related to property damage as well as attempted assault after the left-wing terror group tried to blockade entrances and exits around the building.

I’m tired of patience for this nonsense. ICE needs water cannons to clean up that ugly antifa mess. They should be used constantly, every time a crowd gathers.
