A man who was being escorted away on Friday by NYPD from Times Square with an eye closed due to a liquid suspected to be bleach splashing on his face was being made fun of by the Antifa mob, who were insulting him and making mock baby noises.
"Watch these animals laugh at a man who had bleach thrown at his face." says the tweet."
The original tweet says all of the following, in part:
"This is video of the civilian with the eye injury. People there seemingly thought it was mace, not bleach. As NYPD escorted him to a station, counter-protesters mocked and laughed at him. 'Awe, poor baby!' 'Do you need your mommy and daddy?' 'What a f**king b**ch!'"
The next tweet in the series shows another video where the victim, before the attack, pushes his way through the crowd, flipping his middle finger back at people on a podium as he moves on. People are yelling at him "why you running, b**ch, why you running, p**sy?"
"I did actually partially capture one of the moments in which the liquid was poured toward the crowd. I did not personally witness the alleged incident in which a police officer was reportedly injured by the same."
According to the same Tweet thread, six people were arrested at the scene of the incident:
"My understanding is all but one arrest were counter-protesters, and the one Trump supporter arrested was released on scene without charge."
One Twitter user simply responded the following:
"That is not shocking. We have become a nation of thugs"
