Internal documents obtained by the Daily Wire reveal that a newsletter distributed to agents at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)  applauded an officer for cross-dressing, claiming it makes him a "better intelligence officer."

The newsletter, titled "The Dive," was obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request and was created by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence's IC Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Office.

The article receiving the most attention is titled “My Gender Identity and Expression Make Me a Better Intelligence Officer." The article is written by an anonymous officer in the first person who describes himself as a man who enjoys wearing women’s clothing.

“I am an intelligence officer, and I am a man who likes to wear women’s clothes sometimes,” the first line of the article reads.

The officer elaborates on his experiences, mentioning how wearing women’s shoes and a bra provides him with firsthand knowledge of discomfort and helps him empathize with his female counterparts.

“I know firsthand how wearing heels can make your feet hurt and make it take longer to walk somewhere,” the officer states.

He also argues that crossdressing should be accepted in the workplace to promote a broader understanding of gender identity and expression.

“It is my hope that we can learn to accept a wider range of gender identities and expressions.” the officer continues.

A spokesperson for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence confirmed that the newsletter, which included this article, was distributed across the entire intelligence community. The spokesperson emphasized that the IC DEIA Office aims to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce through initiatives like "The Dive."

“The IC Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (IC DEIA) Office manages the IC’s efforts to build a diverse and inclusive workforce, and as part of their work, they distribute The Dive, a quarterly magazine, to each IC element’s DEIA office and/or Equal Employment Opportunity office,” the spokesperson said.
