Former President Donald Trump spoke to a crowd in Iowa and slammed President Joe Biden, labeling him, "incompetent" and the real "threat to democracy."

In the small city of Newton, Iowa with a population of just under 16,000, Trump spoke to a crowd of citizens with the approaching Republican primary and Iowa caucuses.

"Nine days from now the people of this state are going to cast the most important vote of your entire lives," Trump stated in his introduction, before going after Biden.

“This guy goes around and says I’m a threat to democracy. No, he’s a threat because he’s incompetent. He’s a threat to democracy.”
Talking about the wars happening in Israel and Ukraine he told the crowd that if Biden had never become president the wars would have "never happened."

Trump slammed Biden on different issues involving his handling of the southern border, allowing war in Israel and Ukraine, and rampant inflation.
“Under crooked Joe Biden our borders have been absolutely erased. Millions of illegal aliens are invading us like a military invasion," he said.

Continuing on the issue of the border, Trump scrutinized the Biden administration on the amount of people coming in from China. Recent reports also show the Biden administration reduced vetting processes on Chinese illegal immigrants.

“A lot of these people are young, strong, men. Military aged. 27,000 people coming in from China between the ages of 20 and 25. That sounds a little suspicious.”

The speech comes after the decision that was put into motion in Colorado to remove Trump from the Republican primary ballot was reversed pending a decision from the United States Supreme Court.

According to a recent poll on the Iowa Republican primary, Trump was holding at 43 percent among Iowa voters, with presidential candidates Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as well as former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley tied for second place.
