California State Senator Scott Wiener knew of Paul Pelosi attacker’s ‘long history’ with the nudist community in the Castro

According to KRON4 News, Wiener said, "I’ve been aware of him for a long time because he was associated with the public nudity folks in the Castro. It’s a long history with him."

On Twitter, Stephen L. Miller questioned how Weiner, who has proposed "Drag Queen 101" be taught in grades k-12 and has supported other precepts of radical gender ideology, was aware of DePape's "long history."

In recent days more details of DePape's history have come to light. He was previously in a romantic relationship with 53-year-old Oxane 'Gypsy' Taub, a convicted pedophile who stalked a 14-year-old boy whom she met through one of her sons.

Taub, calling from the California Institution For Women in Corona, California, spoke to local ABC news on Sunday and said, "He is mentally ill. He has been mentally ill for a long time."

Taub was convicted of 20 counts of child abuse in 2021. She purchased sex dolls for a young boy she met through her son and said she wanted to date him as she expressed her "love and desire" for him. She would often try to beguile the boy into meeting her privately and on the last encounter when she arrived to meet the youngster, wearing a disguise, she was instead greeted by police who promptly arrested her.

A neighbor of Taub and DePape's, Ryan La Coste, who lived near their Berkeley home said, "Before Gypsy got locked up, there were sex dolls drying on the back of their porch that I'm assuming she bought for her sons."

Taub and DePape's Berkeley home was described by neighbors as "an open drug scene" and a "hippie collective." Taub and DePape were also known as nudist activists who would protest laws and ordinances that told citizens to wear clothes in public. Taub protested nude at San Francisco City Hall and hosted a 9/11 denier public access television program in the nude.

DePape was also accused of child sexual abuse by Taub's daughter, Inti Gonzalez. In a now-deleted blog post, Gonzalez came forward on Friday to claim she identified as his daughter, as her mother began a relationship with DePape when Taub was pregnant. Gonzalez's brother, Nebosvod, followed by another brother and Gonzales all opened up about the abuse they allege was inflicted by DePape.

When she heard about the incident at Pelosi's house, Gonzalez wrote she wasn't surprised, "considering the kind of extreme abuse he had inflicted on me and my brothers."

The incident, which happened around 2:27 am had the suspect break into the home, but then DePape apparently allowed Pelosi to use the bathroom, leading to the 911 call where he referred to DePape as a "friend." It is unclear whether Paul Pelosi was trying to say that DePape was his friend or Nancy's friend.

DePape yelled "Where is Nancy? Where is Nancy?" before the attack which police arrived in time to see. San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said on Friday, "Our officers observed Mr. Pelosi and the suspect both holding a hammer. The suspect pulled the hammer away from Mr. Pelosi and violently assaulted him with it. Our officers immediately tackled the suspect, disarmed him, took him into custody."

Pelosi was taken to a nearby hospital with a skull fracture but is expected to make a full recovery.

Speaking from the California Institution For Women, Taub said DePape was, "very much in alignment with my views and I've always been very progressive. I absolutely admire Nancy Pelosi."

Writing for substack Michael Shellenberger said, "Neighbors described DePape as a homeless addict with politics that was, until recently, left-wing, but of secondary importance to his psychotic and paranoid behavior."
