"Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC."
While Biden dictated the terms of the first debate, Trump had his own suggestions for the second, saying that it should be on FoxNews and should avoid the kind of bias that comes with the legacy broadcasting stations.
"My debate with Crooked Joe Biden," Trump began his challenge, "the Worst President in the history of the United States, was slated to be broadcast on Fake News ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, sometime in September. Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC. Thank you!"
In posts on Truth Social, Trump slammed the outgoing president, questioning whether Biden really has Covid, and positing that perhaps Biden just wanted to get out of facing Trump. "Does anybody really believe that Crooked Joe had Covid?" Trump asked. "No, he wanted to get out ever since June 27th, the night of The Debate, where he was completely obliterated. That was the big moment in Joe Biden’s demise. That was the point in time when Joe was revealed for what he is, an incompetent man who should never have been President. Joe Biden is not fit to serve - He is destroying our Country!"
The first debate was held in Atlanta on June 27 and was aired and moderated by CNN. The two men were in an otherwise empty auditorium, with no audience and no press other than cameras and the two moderators. Press was relegated to a separate area. There were also strict time limits to the presidents' remarks and either of them would be muted at the end of the two minute mark after being asked questions.
At one point, Biden suggested that he "fought Medicare," and Trump said that not only did he not know what Biden was talking about, he thought that perhaps Biden didn't know what he was talking about either.
